Yes. Family physicians can discuss mental health concerns and help identify appropriate next steps.
Is mental health care covered by OHIP?
Visits with a family physician may be covered for eligible patients. Some external services may have separate fees.
What if I am in crisis?
If you are in crisis or may be in danger, call 911, call 988, or go to the nearest emergency department.
